colleen just made her first edible cookie...and lance has eaten 12!

So ive always had this problem cookies and i we just don't seem to "mesh" i ALWAYS burn them or they are flat or they are rock hard and not burned! its just a problem but today with a day off i was determined to take a day and conquer some serious cookie making. Part of my desire behind this project is because my husband always talks about his second mothers(MRS. PARKS) baking traits and how him misses it and i cant make a decent cookie for the man...its pathetic...TODAY EVERYTHING CHANGED! Not only did i make a stressful cookie Lance turned to me and said " wow that's by far THE BEST cookie i have ever had...you made this? and from scratch?" I KNOW! crazy right! so don't ever give up you can make this cookie too now...and your husband he will thank you i guarantee it!
FAMOUS SOFT CHEWY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE FROM BYU HAWAII 3 1/2 CUBES OF REAL BUTTER 1 1/2 CUPS OF SUGAR 2 1/4 OF BROWN SUGAR PACKED 4 EGGS 2 Tbsp. VANILLA 6 CUPS OF FLOUR 2 tsp. BAKING SODA 1 Tbsp. BAKING POWDER 1 1/2 TSP. salt 1 POUND OF CHOCOLATE CHIPS (P.S. THIS MAKES A TON OF COOKIES...ITS JUST HOW I GOT THE RECIPE!) KEEP SOME...GIVE SOME AWAY!
CREAM BUTTER, SUGARS, ADD EGGS AND VANILLA MIX REALLY WELL. MIX DRY INGREDIENTS AND ADD TO SUGAR MIXTURE.
ADD CHOCOLATE CHIPS.
SECTION OFF COOKIES ON SHEETS.
BUTTER THE COOKIE TRAY.
BAKE @ 325 DEGREES FOR 7-8 MINUTES!
****** DO NOT OVER BAKE THEY WILL SET UP*******

I KNOW IT SEEMS SIMPLE BUT REALLY SOMETHING ABOUT THIS COMBINATION REALLY WORKS AND TASTES LIKE SO PERFECT.
